Southern Front rebels on Tuesday have launched a major offensive against Syrian forces in the central city of Daraa south the war-torn country, a move comes amid a decline in the army manpower and morale.
The new offensive that aims to capture the city of Daraa comes after calm for three weeks and piles of criticisms to the key rebel groups operating under "Southern Front".
The border city with Jordan is mostly dominant by moderate Free Syrian Army mid small presence for the radical Islamic State group.
On the northern battlefront, 5 ISIS fighters and 4 rebels have been killed late on Monday after fierce clashes in Marea town in the northern countryside of Aleppo, local reporter said.
The clashes erupted between an ISIS cell and Free Syrian Army fighters, 4 rebels were killed when two ISIS fighters blew themselves up inside al-Abbas mosque.

In a statement dated Tuesday, Islamic State said its fighters had attacked two buildings in Marea and killed nearly 50 members of an "apostate" militia that opposes it.
Separatley, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said on Tuesday Riyadh's position on the conflict in Syria has not changed and that there was no place for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the future of the country.
He was speaking after talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow, a long-standing ally of Assad in the conflict, amid a renewed diplomatic push to end the conflict in Syria because of gains on the ground by Islamic State.
