Major General Selim Idriss considered al-Ghouta massacre a response to Free Syrian Army heroic achievements in al-Ghouta and to their resistances to Assad and Hezbollah Forces trials of raiding the towns of Ghouta.
The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff disclosed, regime has used chemical weapons via land-land
rockets which were fired to Al-ghouta towns from Mezzeh Military Airport. Idis
holds United Nations accountable for what is happening.
In a TV
interview, Idris accused International Community and Security Council of collusion concerning crimes in which the
regime used internationally prohibited mass destruction weapons.
Major General of FSA, Idris disapproved regime
accusation that opposition used chemical weapons. Idris said FSA does not own chemical
weapons. Ironically, asking if FSA had chemical weapons, would they use them in
an area they control?
He clarified
the regime wants to make use of the investigation mission to accuse the
opposition. Idris disclosed, regime supporters' comments on their Facebook
pages prove using chemical weapons was an order from the regime's head.
Idris
addressed FSA fighters they have to be unified to put an end for regime's
arrogance and to prepare painful strikes to the regime.
He added,
many of world countries want to smother the Syrian Revolution and he promised
all possible means will be used to strike the regime.
