Turkish authorities to open border crossings with Syria during Eid al-Adha, despite the tensions, a such move allows thousands of Syrian refugees scattered on the both sides of the border to meet again after nearly 9 months of border closure due to the deteriorating security situation, source told Zaman al-Wasl Saturday.
The Source said the border will be opened for 10 days starts by September 24.
Opening the border during Eid is a Turkish tradition even before the Syrian revolution erupted in March 2011, relied to deep historical and relative connections between Syrians and Turks.
