Teir Malla Media Office mourned Sunday journalist Mahmoud Al Louz, who died of wounds sustained during his covering for the Syrian regime offensive on northern countryside of Homs.
Al Louz, who escaped death three times since the revolution erupted in March 2011, has lost his live due to a mortar shrapnel in Teir Malla frontline, the press office said.
The stricken town of Teri Malla and most rural Homs has been under major assault by Syrian troops and their Shia allia, backed by Russian jets since Sep. 30.
The northern countryside of the central city has occurred to severe aerial campaign, about 400 people have been killed in Russian air strikes, monitoring groups said, mostly from Homs.
Hundreds of Syrian journalists and media activists passed away in the nearly 5-year-old war, and hundreds more are still in Syrian regime dentition.
