Military
source in the Joint chiefs of free army staff revealed that Washington had impeded
the entry of Atropine material and other anti-chemical gases to Syria, before the
use of chemical weapons last week in al-Ghouta near Damascus by Assad forces.
The source
disclosed that Italy had sent protective devices from the chemical weapons
within the atropine to Turkey two months ago , but the Italian Authorities were
waiting the U.S. Embassy approval in Ankara to enter Syria.
After the
chemical attack on Ghouta, US Embassy prompted to send "atropine" and
masks, the source said.
In
relevant development, rebels have obtained their own hand-made anti-chemical
masks incase for any imminent attack by Assad on Aleppo or other Syrian areas.
Rebel
leader in 'Shouhada'a Badr' brigade told Zaman Alwasl. 'We have to be prepared
especially after the alleged US strike where the Assad force will be more savage
and will use savage ways in killing within use of chemical weapons.
