Eastern Ghouta: Rebels kill one of al-Otaiba ambush masterminds
(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian rebels have killed Monday one the Syrian regime's notorious officers in the Eastern Ghouta district who was a key mastermind of the well-known al-Otaiba ambush which took place on February 26, 2014 northeast Damascus and left about 175 rebel fighters dead.

Activists said the Syrian Republic Guard officer, Ra'fat Salman Abu Rahhal, was killed at the same area near the equestrian club on the enclaves of al-Otaiba town.

Rahhal was born in Bataba village in the coastal Tartus province, Bashar al-Assad's key Alawite stronghold.
