A Syrian refugee donated his wife’s organs and
saved lives for three Italian patients.
He and his wife, a former nurse, arrived at the
shores of the island of Sicily on August 28, but she died immediately, but she
gave a consent for organ donation before dying, according to Italian
newspapers.
Her liver was transplanted to a 66 years old man,
while her two kidneys were transplanted to a 41-year-old woman and a 60 years
man.
A similar story happened in Lebanon in July,
where a Syrian refugee saved lives of 6 people need transplantation.
