Grandson of Prince Abdulkader al-Jazaeri facing death sentence by Syrian regime

Activists repeated their call to highlight the fact that the grandson of Prince Abdelkader al-Jazaeri facing death sentence on the hands  of the authorities in Syrian regime, as he was arrested many times and the most recent was about a year ago from his house in suburb of Damascus.

The activists said that doctor Mohamed Khaldoun al-Hassani al-Jazaeri, was presented on the regime-run TV channel, as a terrorist working with the armed groups. They stressed that he is now threatened of death after a death sentence was issued against him.

In a detailed presentation of his ancestors, activists showed that Dr. Khaldoun is a grandson of Prince Abdulkader al-Jazaeri from his mother’s side, and a grandson of the prince’s brother from his father side.

Moreover, activist said that he is related to Hassan bin Ali bin Abi Talib, and his family is highly respected in Algeria and its members are treated as princes when they visit it.

“Doctor Khaldoun was born in Damascus in 1970, and he studied and graduated as a Dentist, besides that he is very knowledgeable in Islam and fatwa on the doctrine of Imam Malik, and a collector of the ten Quranic readings and an expert in Genealogy, especially lineages of Al al-Bayt” Activists explained.

About his personality, activists said that he was direct and honest and did not fear from saying the truth, for that he was prevented from establishing lessons in his home.

His father is Dr. Mackie al-Hossani al-Jazaeri, one of the first famous nuclear scientists in the Arab region as he held a Ph.D in nuclear physics and knew 4 languages, and he was a member of many syndication councils in several Arab universities.

Prince Abdul Kader al-Jazaeri chose Damascus to live in after his release from prison of French occupation. He lived in Damascus for the rest of his life till his death in 1883.

 It worth mentioning that Algerian regime is among few Arabic countries supporting al-Assad regime, and oppose any condemnation decision and it stopped many resolutions of the Arab League in this regard.
