(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian rebels on Saturday launched a surprise attack on regime forces and allied militias in the northern countryside of coastal Latakia province, killing at least 25 soldiers, activists said.
Media activist “Abdul Rahman al-Lazqani”said revolutionaries’ factions liberated “Nahshba”, “al-Mezagli, “al-Hadadi” “Tilal Rasha”, “al-Maqnas”. He added the revolutionaries killed 25 personnel from regime forces and its militias including a colonel called “Luay Aslan” and they have one captive from the militias.
Rebels have destroyed a cannon 130 standard belongs to regime forces on the axis of “Tell Ghazleh” and “Chilka” vehicle on axis of “Ayn al-Qantara” and a tank on axis of “Rasha” beside killing the team there. They took other ordnance as booty during the clashes on the axis of “Kansaba” town.
The military factions who participated in the attack were Ahrar ash-Sham movement, Ansar al-Sham and Jaysh al-Naser.
