Armed opposition says ISIS coordinates with regime, has proof, footage

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Representatives of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and other revolutionary armed formations presented summary with evidence about the connection between the Syrian regime and the Islamic State (ISIS).

The press conference included Mohammed Alloush, representative of the Islam Army and the head of negotiation team, Major Hasan Ibrahim known as “al-Golani”, Major Samer Haboush from the Southern front, and Major Iyad from the battalions of the FSA in the Northern Syria.

Al-Golani explained that the relationship between the Syrian regime and terrorist groups have started after Iraq’s occupation, when the regime started sending terrorists to Iraq.

Then the regime followed the same strategy when the revolution started, by releasing many of prisoner in Sednaya prison who were known of their terrorist activity and became later leaders and effective members of terrorist groups.

Al- Golani mentioned the economic relationship between ISIS and many businessmen who mediate economic activity and trade of gas and oil between the regime and ISIS.

Moreover al-Golani explained the process of transporting all the strategic storage of wheat from Hasaka city to Tartus.

Militarily, al-Golani mentioned that the Islamic State managed to easily control the arms storehouse in Khan Toman, while the Free Syrian Army failed to do that after 2 months of attempts.

Moreover, al-Golani highlighted a question about the way in which fighters and commanders of ISIS move from besieged southern Damascus to Raqqa city, and how a commander of ISIS has been admitted and treated in Damascus Hospital.

Al- Golani revealed that Iranian explosives were used in the explosion against the Free Syrian Army in Quneitra, and part of those explosives were handed by members of Hezbollah.

Mohammed Alloush gave an evidence about the cooperation between n the Syrian regime and ISIS, when the Islamic State cut the supply route for the Free Syrian Army in Kalamoun, which helped Hezbollah and regime in defeating the FSA in Kalamoun battle.

He confirmed that convoys of the Islam Army were heading North to participate in Yabrud battle, but they were trapped in Hamad and Balaas mountains and convoys were looted, and that resulted in surrender of Eastern Kalamoun and then was controlled by Hezbollah. Moreover, according to Alloush, ISIS’s fighters escaped from regime’s side in Midaa town when the Islam Army entered it.

In regard to accusation of using chemical weapon by the Free Syrian Army, Alloush confirmed that all opposition military formations do not have any chemical weapon, while the only side that used chemical weapon was the regime, which used it 43 times.

Representatives of the armed formations confirmed their beliefs in political solution, otherwise they would have not had attended the talks.
