(Zaman Al Wasl- Video)- A Syrian resident from the blockaded southern suburbs of Damascus demanded the International Community to reach an agreement ends Syrian people's suffering who have been facing daily massacres for over five years.
The besieged man who addressed his message in English hoped massacres can be halted where people can get back their normal life.
But not glimmer of hope to be seen in the near future, activists said.
Bashar al-Assad vowed on Tuesday to fight on in what he called Syria's war against terrorism, showing no sign of compromise in his first major address since peace talks broke down in April.
Assad said he would win back "every inch" of Syria, according to Reuters.
Most of Damascus suburbs have endured to severe siege as the Syrian regime bans food and aid entry for the Eastern and Western Ghouta districts, and the southern suburbs of Damascus, including Daraya, Douma, Moadamiya, Yarmouk refugee camp, Khan al-Sheeh and al-Hajer al-Aswad.
Last week, the Syrian regime under pressure from its ally Russia and other countries belonging to the International Syria Support Group overseeing the peace process, allowed the first U.N. aid convoy into Daraya since late 2012.
Syria's devastating war, which began as a pro-democracy revolt in 2011, has killed more than 280,000 people, activists said in a new toll for the five-year conflict.
The toll of 282,283 includes 81,436 civilians, among them 14,040 children and 9,106 women, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
