'Islam Brigade' denies mobilization call in Damascus Ghouta

   

Al-Islam Brigade denied in a statement the call for mobilization and asking Ghouta's youth to join immediately the ranks of rebels on the battlefronts within 24 hours or will be there by force. 

Zahran Alloush, Leader of the Islam Brigade said we didn't sign any statement as well we refuse any call for Jihad by force.

Mandatory conscription needs a detailed study which depends on Shariah and military status besides the social matters in order to impose such a decision. 

Social media was circulated a statement attributed to Shariah Authority of Islam Brigade and other Jihadist groups in Ghouta and Damascus suburbs urging young men to join immediately the ranks of rebels on the battlefronts within 24 hours or will be there by force.  The circular demanded all Young men who born between (1994 -1983) to 

Jihad is sacred duty, no one allowed to stay at home when the Mujahdin in big need for support to combat the enemies of Islam, the statement said 

 Liwa'a al-Islam set up by Zahran Alloush, a salafi activist jailed by the government in 2009, founded the group when he was released from prison in mid-2011. It considered as the most powerful and organized rebel group which based mainly in Ghouta and tens of thousands of rebels, it rose to prominence after bombing the National Security Office in Damascus in July 2012, which killed several of Assad’s leading military officials. Considers itself “the biggest faction in the Damascus region” and claims to have 64 sub-battalions, but it refuses to give an estimated number of fighters.
