Pro-Gulen generals coordinated with PKK, Assad, YPG: report

By Ethar Abdulhaq

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Despite the passing of almost one month on coup, the Turkish media is increasing its reports and investigations about the failed coup, its repercussions, connections, the role of the prominent persons accused in being involved in it, especially the high ranking military offices who held sensitive command positions.

In this framework, the newspaper Yeni Shafak published a report in Turkish about the involvement of high ranking officers who were in direct contact with the Syrian situation, as a result of their supervision of the border region with its complications and dangers facing national security for Ankara, especially from the side of the People’s Protection Units (YPG) and the Islamic State.

Zaman al-Wasl looked at the report and translated the prominent issues in it, given its importance in providing information that affect Syria, as a country and a cause, as a revolution and regime, with all what the word revolution includes from types and color, and all that the word regime includes from its allies, cover and overt collaborators.

The report focuses on three major officer, whose names were previous circulated as part of those involved in the coup, and they are: the commander of the second army General Adam Huduti, the commander of the 5th armored brigade the Brigadier Mert Sosyal, and the Brigadier Samih Terzi of the special forces.

According to Yeni Shafak, General Huduti showed cooperation and responsiveness with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party militia and ISIS, which in the end resulted in the obvious defect leading to the bloody attacks inside Turkey, which led to the death of many victims and injured.

Brigadier Sosyal gave orders to evacuate the Turkish side of the border facing the YPG militia, the Syrian branch of the PKK militia.

According to the report, the three officers were receiving their orders from the organization Hizmet (meaning service in Arabic) which is headed by Fethullah Gulen who resides in the United States.

Gulen’s organization managed to penetrate many Turkish state institutions (of them, the military, police, intelligence services, education, diplomatic, and judicial), and it recruited using various methods thousands of official employees, some of them in vital positions.

Under the title “instructions for massacre,” Yeni Shafak indicated that the commander of the second army Adem Huduti, used his position and privileges to offer all the support possible to each of the PKK militia and the Islamic State which encouraged both parties to harass Turkey and execute aggressive operations against it.

The report connected the facilitations provided by the commander of the second and the massacre in Suruc in southern Turkey (an explosion occurred in the summer of 2015, and tens of civilians fell victim in an area that is predominately Kurdish).
The report saw that the Suruc massacre was intended to rally the Kurdish street against the Turkish government using agents of the Democratic Union Party headed by Salah Muslim, and in reality subordinate to the PKK.

As such according to Yeni Shafak, the will of the Kurdish militia and Gulen’s people met on to cause turbulence in Turkey taking advantage of the Suruc massacre which the accusatory fingers pointed to ISIS as its executioner.

Sosyak was responsible for major forces in the border area Gaziantep, and he purposefully withdrew forces under his command from sensitive border observation points (such as Alipli and Oncupinar), and opening the route before terrorists to cross to Turkey from Syrian territory.

The Brigadier Samih Terzi supervised the coordination of the Turkish special force operations inside Syria. He was waiting to receive instructions from the Gulen organization, which ordered him to head to the special forces headquarters in Ankara with the aim of taking control of it, but the on duty soldiers defended the headquarters and refused to hand it over, one of them (called Omer Khalis Demir) shot Terzi in the head killing him.

Under the title, “the occupation plan step by step,” Yeni Shafak, close to the circles of decision makers in Turkey, continued clarifying that the coup plan would in the event of its success open the border to thousands of ISIS members for them to flock into Turkey, where each of Huduti, Sosyal and Terzi would encourage and turn a blind eye to attacks targeting Alawite concentrated areas in the country to ignite a civil wall and turn attention away from what is happening in Syria especially the regime forces and its militia’s besiegement of Aleppo.

Yeni Shafak described the operation of evacuating the border and withdrawing soldiers from observation points as an unbelievable negligence clarifying that the responsible coup officers of the areas bordering Syria ordered those under their command to empty patrol points which opens the border to its conflict in areas bordering Hatay province, where the governor received calls from citizens informing him of the chaos occurring and that people are crossing the border without anyone stopping them and that this state of chaos continued for several days.
