(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian regime and its allied militias have continued their fiercest offensive on al-Waer besieged neighborhood in Homs city, raiding with Phosphorus bombs and international prohibited Napalm, local sources on Monday.
Zaman al-Wasl’s reporter in Homs said the regime airplanes are not leaving the sky above the besieged countryside for the entire day and the Russian airplanes replace them at night. He added, that the Syrian resistance responded to the violent bombing and the regime and its militias’ continuous massacres in the Homs’ northern countryside and al-Waer neighborhood, by launching on Sunday morning a Grad missile and locally made rockets at the area surrounding al-Mousfat (5 kilometers west of the city of Homs), and some of the pro-regime neighborhoods in Homs.
Abu Mahmoud from Ghantou village said the it is the first time they use these bombs since the outbreak of the revolution, adding that most families in the besieged countryside are not sleeping in their houses because of the heavy Russian aerial bombings on civilians.
Regime warplanes also launched 4 raids on Monday morning targeting civilians houses in al-Rastan killing a 5-year-old child and injuring scores.
Media activist Yarub al-Dali from Rastan said the missiles fired in the morning were carrying metal blocs to kill as many civilians as possible.
A local source from al-Waer said the fiercest regime offensive fired around 150 mortars and missiles on civilian houses killing a young man and injuring 20 persons, some are in critical conditions.
The heavy bombardment came as al-Waer negotiations committees was scheduled to meet with the Bashar al-Assad's officials on Sunday.
A fragile U.N.-brokered truce reached last December failed as regime refused to release detainees and lifting the siege.
