Dozens of Syrian immigrants return back to Turkey from Europe

(Eqtsad)- Dozens of Syrians have returned from Europe to Turkey for different reasons, even some returned after obtaining the indefinite leave to remain. Most of them return via smuggling routes after enforcing entry visa to Turkey on Syrians.

Abo Hashim, a human trafficker lives in Greece told Eqtsad that he smuggle dozens of Syrians back to Turkey for Euro 1500. Adding that they smuggling people via land routes from the Greek city of Salonic to the Turkish city of Edirne after closing the sea way by Turkish authorities.

Ahmed, a Syrian young man returned from Germany told Eqtsad that living in there was not like he expected as he was not able to integrated with the community due to language barriers and other social difficulties, so he thought of returning although he obtained the indefinite leave to remain.

Ahmed found that the trip back to Turkey was more difficult than his way to Germany before, because the procedures were not such difficult before.

Ahmed revealed that he had paid 1500 Euros for smuggling him back to Turkey, and he needed to sleep for two nights in forest to be able to reach to the city of Edirne.

Mohammed who returned from Sweden told Eqtsad that he decided leaving Sweden because he was granted only temporary leave to remain for one year, beside the feeling of alienation and cold in strange community. He mentioned that he had sold his residency for Euro 2500.

Other Syrian refugees return to Turkey or Syria due to long stay in refugees camps without achieving any progress and receiving any support. That what happened to Samer who stayed in a camp in the city of Malmo in Sweden for for a year and a half without obtaining residency, therefore he decided to return to his village n Northern countryside of Idlib.

The the decision of returning back home that dozens of Syrians took, still thousands are waiting and planning to cross to western Europe despite the increasing difficulties and dangers.
