(Zaman Al Wasl)- A well-informed source said Russia has fortified Shuairat military airport in central Homs province with more shields and checkpoints as well has installed surveillance cameras.
Russia forces who celebrate first Syria’s intervention anniversary, have controlled most airbases in regime-held areas.
The source said that new attack helicopters were settled in Shuairat base as well new commandos troops were deployed.
Shuairat base is situated on the fighting line with the Islamic State that controls swaths of territory in the Syrian desert.

the Russian and Syrian bombing of Aleppo as "barbarous".
