(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian rebels on Thursday thwarted regime forces attack on the Western Ghouta district amid heavy aerial bombing on the besieged camp of Khan al-Shih, local activists said.
Khan al-Shih was hit by 50 barrel bombs and 43 Surface-to-Surface missiles, targeting an UNRWA school and aid facilities, local media center said.
The town of Khan al-Shih that contains a Palestinian refugee camp by the same name has endured to sever aerial bombing along with severe blockade since seven weeks.
Activists said on Monday that Regime helicopters had pounded the camp with using chlorine gas. Action Group for Palestinians of Syria said Russia has also targeted the camp that inhabited by 12,000 people, including 3000 children, with napalm bombs.
