(Zaman al-Wasl)- Syrian regime for six consecutive days continues military escalation against civilians in al-Waer besieged neighborhood in Homs.
Regime checkpoints surrounding al-Waer targeted on Sunday civilian houses, public hospitals and shelter centers with Elephant rockets carrying burning Napalm and with heavy mortar which residents in Homs northern countryside felt over 30 Km of distance.
Media activist Abu Faisal, resides inside al-Waer, described that Saturday was one of the most difficult days on al-Waer since the outbreak of the revolution in 2011.
Life is still static inside al-Waer. He added that regime checkpoint located in Lilazine restaurant, 1 Km from al-Waer, targeted on Saturday al-Bir Hospital and al-Tawleed Hospital in old al-Waer with Elephant rockets carrying Napalm. Also, shelters, schools and Ayyubi Square near Homs-Misyaf road were bombed with mortars and artillery which injured scores and hugely destroyed the targeted buildings.
Abu Faisal confirmed the regime banned entrance of bread to al-Waer since a month, pointing out al-Waer residents make bread at home from the flour distributed by UN assistance package which has started to run out. Residents cannot exit their houses to secure basic items due to the random bombing.
Zaman al-Wasl obtained footage and photos documenting the targeting of al-Bir Hosptial and other areas with. Activist say the regime through this campaign is trying to force negotiation committee to compromise detainees’ exit clause and exit of what is left of Syrian resistance personnel inside al-Waer with their families toward the Syrian north.
