(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian rebels fighting regime forces in southern Daraa city have demanded people to avoid clashes areas in al-Manshiya neighborhood as death toll tops to 19 civilians, including 7 children and 5 women.
The Free Syrian Army fighters said on Wednesday at least 30 regime troops have been killed and 50 more have been wounded in al-Manshiya clashes that began on Saturday.
In its turn, the regime forces have also claimed killing 32 rebel fighters, including members of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham.
Activists said 24 rebel fighters were killed and 19 civilians, including 7 children and 5 women, were killed in regime bombing. Three media activists have been also killed, according to field activists.
Al-Manshiya is a home for 20,000 people who enjoyed over two year of calm since the freeze of fighting in the southern city.
The teaching was suspended in the schools of southern Daraa city as regime warplanes have randomly pounding the city, a local governing council said Tuesday.
The statement of the Free Daraa Council said the school will be temporarily shut until Thursday unless the aerial bombing continued.
The bombing killed 6 people in airstrikes targeted a field hospital in the Old City of Daraa, making is out of service.
The towns of Saida, Nu’aima and al-Yadoda were under regime airstrikes while the an array of western countryside villages have been pounded by regime heavy artillery, activists said.
