The National Coalition denies responsibility
for school books presents the former Head photos and speech.
The National Coalition has
denied any responsibility or connection to the distributing of school books in
liberated areas in Syria, which content some speech and photos of Mouaz
al-Khtib, the former head of the Coalition.
The Coalition statement about
the subject on Tuesday said: “those books contravene the basic rules which
curriculums must follow, in terms of form and content.
The statement confirmed that
the mentioned books were not shown to the committee commissioned to review and
verify the content of curriculums in the high commission for Education and
Teaching in the Coalition.
The statement described
putting photos of some known figures of the coalition or quoting some of their
speech as a “big mistake in understanding the revolutionary principles by those
who printed those books”
‘’Syrian People refuse to
practice the same ideology of the totalitarian regimes on its own children,’’
added.
Denying any responsibility of
the coalition in regard of those books, leave the door wide open for many
queries, such as who was responsible for printing and distributing those book,
and what mechanism the coalition would follow to withdraw them or investigate
to know who has distributed them.
