Well-informed source to "Zaman Alwasl" said
that dozens of wounded Syrians in Berlin couldn't come back or complete their
treatments.
The source said that the German Foreign Ministry was brought them to Berlin
from Jordan for medical care but now let them down.
''The wounded can't afford booking a tickets to come back'' its
unacceptable behavior by the German Government, the source added.
In a related development, The German Foreign Minister, Guido Westerwelle,
has warned France and Britain of the consequences of arming the Syrian
opposition, and stressed that there were terrorists in Syria that target Israel,
according to the 'Middle East Monitor'.
In an interview with German newspaper 'Welt am Sonntag' published on
Sunday, Westerwelle said, "Unfortunately, there are terrorists in Syria
who do not only target Damascus, but also Israel."
He added, "Therefore, my instincts call for protecting our Israeli
friends and partners. This matter is not limited to weapons, but also to modern
air defence systems. If such weapons were to fall into the wrong hands, it may
result in a serious threat to Israel and all civil aviation."
Westerwelle, who met with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov two
days ago, also pointed out that Moscow is not planning on supplying Damascus
with missiles at the moment, and said "I explained to him (Lavrov) that we
consider this matter harmful and that it will backfire. He gave me the
impression that there are no plans, at the moment, for Russia to supply Syria
with S-300 missiles."
