(Zaman Al Wasl)- The Negotiation committee in northern Homs and southern Hama area said a new ceasefire deal has been reached on Wednesday as the humanitarian corridors will be opened again after two weeks of escalation.
Syrian activists have surfaced on social media a copy of the deal between the Russian delegation and senior rebel commanders in the besieged countryside of Homs.
The rebel-held northern countryside of Homs has endured to heavy aerial and ground bombardment despite the de-escalation zone deal.
The Russian have also agreed to press on the Syrian regime to release 12174 detainees , including women and children, from northern Homs.
The regime retaliation followed a surprise attack launched by the jihadist alliance led by the former Nusra Front group against regime-held parts of northern Hama, advancing south from rebel-held Idlib.
The attack came after Russia, Iran and Turkey struck a tripartite deal in Astana to deploy an observer force on the edge of a designated “de-escalation zone” in Idlib.
