(Zaman Al Wasl)- The commander of Jund al-Malahem rebel group was killed Thursday by an improvised explosive device in northern Idlib province, activists said.
The IED attack targeted Abu Jasem Kunsafra in the town of Maarret Misreen in the southern countryside of Idlib.
Civil Defense rescuing group said two rebels fighters were also founded killed in the town, following a series of assassinations tracking rebel commanders in northern Syria.
No rebel group claimed the assassination attempt.
