The
death toll of al-Yadouda car explosion in Daraa yesterday rose to 47 people, the
British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
Activists
have accused regime forces of carrying out the attack near a mosque in al-Yadouda
town, the number of martyrs is likely to rise according to more than 150
injuries and tens of serious injuries, the observatory said.
Meanwhile,
Violent clashes taking place between regime forces and rebels around Al-Maftara
gardens near Al-Yadouda town, in an attempt by regime forces to move towards
the town of al-Yadouda.
Regime
forces also renewed bombardment on Tafas town, no reports of losses yet.
Syria's nearly three-year conflict began as popular
protests against four decades of Assad family rule but changed into armed
insurgency under a security force crackdown.
Now
the major Arab state is in a full-scale civil war that has killed more than
136,000 people and forced over 6 million - more than a quarter of the
population - to flee their homes.
An
