The U.S. has started construction of two new military bases in oil-rich areas in northern Syria, mostly in Deir Ezzor province.
The military bases are being built in the 113th Brigade area and near al-Sur region, according to local sources.
While the footage captured by Anadolu Agency showed that many construction equipment are put into action, it was learnt the U.S. has sent 250 to 300 additional soldiers, armored vehicles, heavy weapons and ammunitions to the region.
The US Army has reinforced military presence in northeastern Syria this week, following clear and direct will to seize the Syrian, such a move faced condemnation by Syrians and even by Russia.
Zaman al-Wasl sources obtained photos confirming the American reinforcements and the recent landing of a Lockheed C-130 cargo plane at a new military logistics base near Jabal al-Ghoul that located between the towns of Tel Baidar and Tel Tamr, carrying dozens of armored vehicles.
Zaman al-Wasl previously reported about the base, which was created last year and is a huge support camp.

After a pause in Turkey's military operation in northern Syria, U.S. troops on Friday resumed military patrols around oil reservoirs in northeastern Syria.

Donald Trump has reportedly approved an expanded US military mission to secure an expanse of oil fields across eastern Syria.
The US president’s actions raise a number of legal questions about whether American troops can launch attacks against Syrian, Russian or other forces if they threaten the oil.
After meeting with defence leaders on Friday, Mr Trump decided to commit US troops to defending a large swath of land controlled by Syrian Kurdish fighters stretching from Deir Ezzor to al-Hassakeh, officials told the Associated Press.
The decision commits hundreds of US troops to Syria, despite Mr Trump’s promise to get the bulk of the more than 1,200 American soldiers out of the country.
It could also force lawyers in the Pentagon to craft orders for troops which could see them firing on Syrian government of Russian fighters if they try to take back the country’s oil facilities.
