Coalition plans to replace Syrian regime in UN and other Capitals

(Zaman Alwasl)- The political committee within the National Coalition has decided to request from the United Nation to designate a representative for the Coalition within it and stop dealing with the Syrian regime’s representatives.

The Committee made other decisions in its latest meeting like requesting from both Bader Jamoos, the General Secretary of the Coalition, and Hadi al-Bahra, the Committee’s Secretary to designate a diplomatic body to establish rules for activities and work of Embassies, missions and representatives, besides the jobs of Ambassadors, consuls and workers. The report is expected to be handed to the political committee within 2 weeks.

The Committee has decided to appoint Hanan al-Blakhi as the Committee’s representative in Oslo, the Norway capital.

In a relevant content, the Committee has decided to form a convoy to visit Croatia to meet with Croatian officials and the Syrian Community there, combined with news about assigning a representative in Zagreb.

It has been decided for the Political Committee to hold its coming meeting on 31st May and 1st June, at the Arab League headquarter, with anticipation to discuss with Officials there, the possibility for the Coalition to get Syria’s seat in the Arab League.
