Documents shed light on ‘Self Defense’ Militia

“Self Defense” a new term, used by the Syrian regime in its war against the Syrian people, and was revealed in a group of exclusive leaked documents obtained by Zaman Alwasl.

These documents are published within "Wednesday of Homs," which started weeks ago by our newspaper, and was devoted to Shabiha’s leaks (National Defense) in Latakia.

The documents which are issued by Shabiha’s leadership, enlist names of dozens of those enrolled in the “Self Defense” in different regions and towns of the Syrian coast, who were given weapons and ammunition, in addition to those willing to join the ranks of "Self Defense".

Moreover, The documents lists the names of those involved or want to get involved, and the names of their mothers, and national numbers.

While other documents show the diversity of professions and specialties of applicants, some of whom are college students, employees, self-employed or were volunteers in regime’s army before retiring.

The publication of Zaman Alwasl’s Leaks, has triggered wide anxiety and panic reactions among Shabiha’s rows, especially when it revealed the names of 10 thousand Shabiha, with details of their IDs (published earlier by Zaman Alwasl”.

And obtaining this kind of information means that the newspaper is capable of getting top confidential and accurate information from Shabiha’s stronghold in Lattakia.
