Opposition's Govt paid $ 3 mn for education in rebel-held areas

One million dollars is the cost of printing textbooks distributed by the dismissed "Syrian Interim Government" on schools supervised by the "National Coalition”, which was spent in the period between 10 – 11- 2013 and 6 - 4-2014, according to an official document obtained by Zaman Alwasl, as well as 1.5 million dollars paid for teachers’ salaries during 6 months.

The official document clarified that the government has helped troubled schools in the neighboring countries of Syria with an amount of 500, 000 dollars and paid 166,000 dollars to repair damaged schools inside Syria, and the total sum paid by the dismissed government for "Education" during 5 months reached 3.3 million U.S. dollars.

Iyad Qudsi, Deputy Prime Minister of the Syrian interim government, presented a lengthy report to the National Coalition, which came with the document below, in which he supervised the spending of these funds with Abdul Rahman al-Haj, the adviser of the Minister for Education.
