A UN aid convoy entered into northwestern Syria on Friday, coincided with the entry of several aid convoys in belonging to charitable associations from the Bab Al-Hawa border crossing in Idlib region.
Mazen Alloush, media director at Bab al-Hawa crossing, told Zaman al-Wasl that "the UN convoy that entered Saturday with 22 trucks, was delivered to the partner organizations of the United Nations working in the liberated areas, and they, in turn, will distribute them to our people affected by the earthquake,
He added, "Medical aid (drugs and consumables) was delivered to (Hand by Hand) and (International Relief), and relief and logistical aid (NFI baskets) were delivered to (Watan) organization."
The relief convoy, consisting of 15 trucks of the Turkish "Ihh" organization, arrived on Saturday at the "Bab Al-Hawa" crossing.
It included various relief materials, such as food, clothing, tent supplies, and other things. Trucks containing heating materials arrived at the Bab Al-Hawa crossing through charitable societies, where they will be distributed later to those affected by the earthquake.
On Saturday, an aid convoy provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to a Saudi rescue team, also entered the regions of northwestern Syria, specifically the northern countryside of Aleppo, through the "Al-Hamam" crossing, which connects the "Afrin" region north of Aleppo, with the state of "Hatay" in southern Turkey.
Zaman al-Wasl correspondent in Aleppo countryside confirmed that a Qatari delegation arrived today, Saturday, accompanied by a number of trucks loaded with aid to provide relief to those affected by the earthquake in northwestern Syria, indicating that the delegation began distributing aid upon its arrival to those affected by the earthquake near the town of "Jindires" in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
