Three children of the same family were injured when an explosive remnant of War (ERW) struck near them in the al-Duwairat camp in the western countryside of Aleppo city on Tuesday, the White Helmets agency said.
The children were admitted to Bab al-Hawa Hospital to receive treatment, said the rescue organization.
ERW remains a source of danger for many people in Syria, particularly in areas that witnessed heavy fighting during the conflict, said the United Nations.
The U.N. estimates that some 300,000 civilians died during the first decade of the uprising, while half of the pre-war population of 23 million were displaced.
3 children (siblings) were injured as a result of an explosion of a remnant of war near them while they were lighting a fire with sticks in the Al-Duwairat camp in Jabal Kafr Karmeen, west of #Aleppo, today, Tuesday, September 12.
