The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced a series of new administrative appointments in the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, including leadership positions in the Executive Office, Protocol, Legal Affairs, Media, and International Cooperation.
As part of these appointments, Mohsen Mahbash was appointed Head of the Minister's Office, and Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Qayem was appointed his assistant.
Hadi Al-Sakhini also assumed the position of Director of the Protocol Office and the Secretariat, while Mohammed Yaqoub Al-Omar was appointed Director of the Executive Office.
In Legal Affairs, Ibrahim Al-Olabi was appointed as Legal Advisor for the Chemical Weapons and Sanctions Lifting Files, and Zahra Al-Barazi was appointed as Legal Advisor for the Transitional Justice File.
In the field of media and communications, Razan Safour was appointed as Media and Communication Advisor, and Ruba Muhaisen as International Cooperation Advisor.
In terms of strategic planning, Obada Diab was appointed Deputy Director of the Office, and Youssef Al-Hajr was appointed Director of the Foreign Affairs Office.
The appointments also included Sally Shabout as Special Representative for United Nations Affairs.
In the political departments, Mohammed Taha Al-Ahmad was appointed Director of the Arab Affairs Department, and Mohammed Al-Jaffal as his deputy.
Mohammed Baraa Shukri was appointed Director of Europe, Qutaiba Idlebi as Director of the Americas, and Mohammed Qanatri as his deputy. Zakaria Lababidi was appointed Director of Asian and Oceanian Affairs, Ahmed Dukhan as Director of Turkish and Balkan Affairs, and Saad Baroud as Director of International Organizations and Conferences.
In the technical and specialized departments, Qutaiba Kadish was appointed Director of the Communications and Protocol Department, Abdullah Al-Hakka as Director of the Media Office, Yasser Al-Jundi as Director of the Diplomatic Institute, Ahmed Tafran as Director of the Internal Oversight Department, and Mohammed Abdullah Al-Far as Director of the Public Relations Office.
In the service and organizational departments, Tamer Murad was appointed Director of the Shared Services Department, Anas Al-Badawi Director of the Administrative Development Department, Ezzou Al-Mohammad Director of the Information Systems and Digital Transformation Department, Mohamed Abdel Salam Director of the Expatriate Affairs Department, and Ali Gamal El-Din Mustafa Director of the General Diwan and Symbols Department.
These appointments come within the framework of the Ministry's efforts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in carrying out its duties and modernize its administrative structure to meet current challenges.
