Al-Sharaa says Syria moves forward in attracting investments, comprehensive financial reform is necessity

President Ahmad al-Shara'a stressed that Syria is going through a critical phase that requires tireless work and comprehensive financial reform to advance the national economy and provide the necessary resources to eradicate poverty. He emphasized that this phase requires concerted action among various state institutions and harmonious work between ministries.

In his statements, al-Shara'a said, "Syria has been a global trend for six months now, and we occupy a large media presence. This in itself is a great opportunity to convey our messages and values ​​to the world." He emphasized the importance of capitalizing on the current media momentum to enhance Syria's international image.

He pointed out that integration between ministries is "crucial," calling for an end to separate institutional islands and the adoption of joint coordination as a fundamental principle in government administration.

The President stated that the decisions taken within this council affect every household in Syria and contribute to resolving refugee issues and alleviating the burdens on neighboring countries. He added that the entire world is optimistic about the Syrian situation, and this places a very great responsibility on our shoulders. He emphasized the necessity of fulfilling our national duty with all possible energy by everyone who assumes a position, regardless of its size.

President Sharaa continued, "People can hardly finish talking about one event before another comes along immediately after it," referring to the rapid political and economic developments in the country. He considered that "working around the clock and holding continuous meetings must be a characteristic of the state because we are in a phase of construction."

He explained that "the current government came to power through a revolution in which we paid a heavy price in blood. We are not among those accustomed to sitting in luxurious palaces," affirming the legitimacy of the revolution and the nature of the new leadership.

Regarding the economic aspect, President Sharaa emphasized that Syria is continuing to attract foreign investment, especially in the infrastructure sector, and is working to "create a suitable environment for investment by drafting laws that facilitate the transfer of funds to investors."

He also called for the development of basic services in the health and water sectors, and for attracting investments to ease the burden on the state.

In the field of education, he emphasized the need to "pay attention By developing education at all levels of education and higher education, and introducing modern methods into the educational process," he said, considering education one of the pillars of building Syria's future.

President Al-Sharaa concluded his remarks by emphasizing that "increasing production and providing export markets contribute to enhancing liquidity within the country," noting that the government prioritizes these goals to achieve economic recovery.
