Dr. Hania Al-Qali, a psychotherapist and member of the Sons of the Golan volunteer team, sent an urgent distress message via social media, calling for rapid humanitarian intervention to support the displaced Bedouins of As-Suwayda, who are living in catastrophic conditions after their forced displacement during the recent events.
Dr. Hania confirmed that the team met dozens of displaced families, including children and women, who are suffering from a lack of basic services and are completely exposed to the summer heat, without adequate shelter, medical care, or food.
In her message, she emphasized that these displaced people "have nothing but the hope that someone will hear their voice," noting the worsening psychological conditions among children due to trauma and displacement.
Sons of the Golan called on humanitarian and relief organizations to take immediate action and provide essential assistance, emphasizing that "silence is a crime, and silence is complicity."
This appeal comes at a time when calls are growing for an international investigation into the displacement of Bedouin tribes in the eastern countryside of Sweida, amid accusations that local militias are committing systematic violations against civilians.
