Exclusive: This is Syria's daily oil and gas production

An official report issued by the Ministry of Energy revealed that Syria's crude oil and gas production remains below pre-war levels.

According to the report obtained by Zaman al-Wasl, total daily oil production reached 7,350 barrels, of which only 500 barrels were domestically produced. The remaining quantities were distributed between the Al-Furat and Al-Thawra oil companies, totaling 4,789 and 2,053 barrels, respectively.

Natural gas production reached approximately 7.68 million cubic meters per day, most of which goes to power plants, with no allocations to the industrial sector.

Actual withdrawal from the grid reached 7.927 million cubic meters, of which only 2.423 million cubic meters were produced by the national company.

The data showed that the percentage of clean gas reached 9.8 million cubic meters, compared to 0.21 million cubic meters of polluted gas.

The report also indicated that the quantities of oil transported via pipelines amounted to 3.34 million barrels, most of which came from the state-owned oil company's fields, with no foreign imports recorded.
