(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian regime warplanes have hit Eastern Ghouta suburbs near Damascus on Tuesday, leaving 7 civilians dead and dozens wounded, a monitoring group said.
Bashar al-Assad’s warplanes have conducted airstrikes on Erbin and Ayn Terma towns in the Eastern Ghouta, killing 7 people at least, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The
Observatory also reported violent clashes between the regime forces and the
Islamic battalions in Zebdeen and al Rayhan orchards near the city of Douma,
the observatory added.
The
embattled Yarmouk Refugee Camp has witnessed sporadic clashes between Free
Syrian Army fighters and pro-Assad Palestinian militia of Popular Front for the
Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC).
In another war front, rebels of Daraya, south-west outskirts of the capital, have killed top commander of regime’s republican guards units on Monday as heavy fighting still taking place on the outskirts of the city, activists said.
Fighting renewed in Daraya after calm and negotiations for long-term ceasefire. But the efforts have been failed to reach a deal, local activists say.
People of Daraya are looking for a long-term truce allowing them to survive starvation and severe siege imposed by Bashar al-Assad’s forces.
More than 191,000 people have been killed since Syria's conflict began in March 2011.
