Damascus - Israeli occupation forces carried out a renewed ground incursion on Saturday into the western vineyards area surrounding the town of Beit Jen in the western countryside of Damascus, continuing a pattern of repeated assaults and violations in the region.
According to a report by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), an occupation force consisting of three tanks and five military vehicles advanced toward the intersection known as "Bab al-Sadd Fork" (or the Tank Company Fork), located on the road linking the Beit Jen farm with the villages of Hadr, Jbat al-Khashab, and Tranja in the Quneitra countryside.
The agency stated that the occupation forces intermittently fired live ammunition into the air, aiming to intimidate livestock herders and force them away from the area. They also established a military checkpoint at the site, blocking civilians from using the road.

This latest breach of Syrian sovereignty follows closely on the heels of a severe Israeli attack on Beit Jen just days ago, which resulted in the martyrdom of 20 civilians and injured dozens.
