Occupied Jerusalem, Oct. 13 (SANA) A Palestinian child died from injuries sustained in an Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip, and two other Palestinians were wounded by Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested 29 Palestinians during raids across the West Bank.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that a four-year-old child died from injuries sustained about three weeks ago in an Israeli bombardment of al-Zawayda in central Gaza.
Two Palestinians were also wounded by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in the al-Amal neighborhood and near Hamad City, north of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
In the West Bank, Israeli forces detained 29 Palestinians during raids in neighborhoods of Hebron and the towns of Talfit, Tell and Asira al-Shamaliya in Nablus governorate.
Meanwhile, dozens of settlers stormed Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, and attacked residents in an attempt to prevent them from reaching their land beyond the separation wall to harvest olives.
The attacks come as the olive-picking season gets underway. Farmers in several areas face repeated settler assaults, including the theft of olives, the cutting down and burning of trees, and the seizure of crops.
