Abdul-Aziz al-Khair is not dead, NCC says

National Coordination Committee denied killing its veteran dissident in the Assad regime's chambers.

NCC said that Dr. Abdul-Aziz al-Khair is still alive via a statement was posted on the committee FaceBook page after rumors deliberated by Social Media and broadcasted by Al Arabiya Satellite Channel.

AL-Khair was arrested ten months ago by the Air Force intelligence after his arriving from Beijing after Official visit for NCC to China and Russia.

 Every time a delegation from the regime visited Moscow, it would be asked about the fate of kidnapped opposition activist Abdul-Aziz al-Khair. But noteworthy this time was that Lavrov himself said that his country did not possess any concrete information about Khair’s whereabouts. He told his visitors that Moscow’s information came from a statement made by the president of the NCC, Haytham Manna, but that the Russian leadership did not know for sure whether Khair was held by Syrian air force Intelligence or some other faction.
