Al HASAKAH (Zaman Al Wasl) – Syrian social media pages, loyal to Bashar al-Assad, have circulated photos showing militants of Hezbollah and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards accompanied by regime’s military leader of al-Hasakah province north Syria during their round on the city’s barriers.
“Around 200 militants from Hezbollah wandered in the city, wearing their uniforms with their icons, those they used to take off when moving in the city before” activist Mahmood al-Ahmad said to Zaman al-Wasl.
Al-Ahmed added that regime relied on Shiite Lebanese and Iranian militia during the Islamic State’s attack on the city, when morale of regime’s forces was down.
The activist explained that regime used the scorched earth policy in the revolutionary areas of the city.
In a relevant content, Intelligence online, the French weekly Bulletin published recently that Iran tried to form a Syrian Hezbollah as an essential supporter to Assad’s regime, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard working hard to improve their strategic forces on ground in Syria.
The Bulletin added that General Kassem Solaimani, th leader of Quds forces, who based near Sayyeda Zainab, had been trying to form the Syrian Hezbollah, especially in areas they retrieved from rebels in the north of the country.
Moreover, the Bulletin mentioned that Syrian Hezbollah has a secret role to ensure strategic coordination with the similar Lebanese and Iraqi forces, to form a military connection between Damascus, Beirut and Tehran in case the Syrian regime fell.
On the other hand, the Islamic state announced that they had defeated the Syrian forces with its supporters like Hezbollah militia, Christian and Kurdish militia, besides forces of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in al-Hasakah.
