(Zaman Al Wasl Leaks)- An official document leaked by Zaman al-Wasl reveals new abuses for the widows of National Defence Forces (NDF) by regime army officers in Hama province, which include extorting and sexual exploitations.
The last harassment leaks, published weeks ago by al-Wasl, have sparked outrage amid Syrian regime’s loyalists. Sources said regime’s First Lady Asma al-Assad would likely meet with the abused widows of NDF fighters and families of the dead soldiers.
The recent leaks of Zaman al-Wasl for the brutal and criminal practices are ringing the alarm bells inside Bashar al-Assad’s close security circle, well-informed source says.
The source said 3 security members, who were mentioned in the leaks, had been arrested.
The security services ordered to open an investigation in the reported abuses and to hold perpetrators to accountability, according to the source.
Zaman al-Wasl Leaks have included thousands of names and information related to regime army, Intelligence departments, National Defence Forces, Shiite militias, spies and informers.
Meanwhile, more than 190,000 people have been killed since the start of Syria's uprising against Bashar Assad in March 2011.
