(Zaman Al Wasl)- Nofal
al-Dawalibi, the spokesman of the National Unity Movement to Liberate Syria,
reveals to Zaman al-Wasl that his party “the Liberated Nationalists Party”, has
ceased the Transitional Revolutionary Government announced in April 2012,
because they found it would not be independent as a result of many
international agendas and dictations.
In regard to Russian role in
Syria, he explains that no direct risk on Russia if Bashar al-Assad stayed or
if the Syrian Regime was changed, as there are no direct boarders between them.
“However, Russia needs to secure
its strategic interests in the region and found bases like USA, as long as it
did not find an alternative to al-Assad, it would keep its attitude from Syria”
He adds that the Russian ruble
dropped from 28 to 84 against the US Dollar, he anticipated that Russia could
be at the brink of an economical crisis.
In regard to the reasons behind
the stand-still status of the Syrian crisis, al-Dawalibi does not think that
Russian and Iranian roles, the Nature of the battles on ground and lack of fund
and support are the only factors, he thinks that a National will led to recent
situation, as interests of Russia, Iran, USA and Israel met and conflicted by the
Syrian crisis.
Al-Dawalibi confirms that fevered
communications and activitiesو international and with Syrian figures and parties, are going on
regarding to the Syrian revolution, started since allocating Anan as an Envoy
to Syria, “But in the end, no solution would be acceptable unless it gives the
Syrian people their rights, fulfils their goals, and values their unprecedented
sacrifices.”
He confessed that the “Liberated
Nationalist Party” has at the moment no effects on the existing agendas and
dictations, and its sources are limited.
He expresses his opinion in the
National Coalition as a nationally recognised opposition body, but still it has
not been up to expectations, and it is controlled by dependency, dictations and
personal interest.
Nawaf al-Dawalibi expresses his
attitude toward the Muslim Brotherhoods saying: “they want to harvest fruit
before even planting the tree.”
In regard to other opposition’s bodies especially the Coordination body, he explains that they support every formation adopt and defend the wide principles of the Syrian revolution and who pretend to support the revolution is well known.
