Car bomb rocked al-mazra'a Checkpoint in Homs

A huge car bomb rocked al-mazra'a Checkpoint at the western entrance of the city of Homs, killing unconfirmed number and wounded dozens of Assad forces, according to activists.

 No Armed group adopted the the explosion which considered the first against regime's barriers in Homs.

In quick response, the Assad forces pounded al-Waer neighborhood by mortar bombs, killing 3 and dozens wounded.

 Theregime snipers, who planted on the building surrounding the besieged neighborhoods, are preventing wounded people reaching al-Waleed Hospital which is under control of Free Syrian Army.

In relevant context, source to Zaman Alwasl said that rebels fhad ound a car full of TNT was prepared to bomb in al-Waer.

 Syria's conflict began in March 2011 largely as peaceful protests against Assad's rule. It escalated into a civil war after opposition supporters took up arms to fight a brutal government crackdown on dissent.

More than 100,000 people have been killed in the conflict, according to the U.N.'s recent estimate.
