Fatah Army takes control of strategic military post in Idlib

Fatah Army in Idlib on Tuesday has taken control of a strategic military post near Ariha town, leaving heavy losses among Syrian forces, rebel news feeds said.

The alliance of Islamist groups, including the Nusra Front, has seized control of al-Fanar military post and surrounding checkpoints in Arbaeen Mount
after a huge explosion hit the base.

Army of Fatah, a reference to the conquests that spread Islam across the Middle East from the seventh century, has seized swathes of territory northern Syrian since late of March 2015 including Idlib city and Jisr al-Shughour town.

In another battle front, Fatah Amy took control of 3 checkpoint in Museibeen town near al-Mastouma camp, Bashar al-Assad's main stronghold in Idlib province, activists said.

Syria's four-year-old war has killed more than 220,000 people and forced millions out of their homes.
