No official procedures to restrict Syrians entry to Lebanon

 

 No official procedures to restrict Syrians entry to Lebanon or to control their residency, a well-informed source in the Syrian refugee affairs in Lebanon, told Eqtsad via phone interview.

 Large number of families keeps entering Lebanon without any problem, the source stressed.

 Recently, social media activists circulated  news about restricting the entry of Syrians to Lebanon for people who have tenant contract, hotel reservation, official papers to visit some Embassies or the Syrians who can not stay in Lebanon more than 15.

The UN Higher Council for Refugees (UNHCR) said the number of the registered refugees in Lebanon was more than 554,000 while more than 111,000 were still waiting for registration, 70% of them were women and children.

 Meanwhile,150000 people have been killed in the conflict, according to Syrian Human rights NGO's.
