Shariah Authority president in north Aleppo, shot dead

Shariah Authority president in the city of Azaz, north Aleppo, was shot dead by Unknown assassins.

Sheikh Yousef Ashmawi was killed by silencer pistol from behind in front of his house, local sources told Zaman Alwasl.

Ashmawi is a prominent figure within Free Syrian Army in North Syria, he engaged in the armed conflict since early time of the revolution. Recently, he participated in the liberation battle of Menngh Military Air base, Activists say.
