A well-informed source said leader of key Syrian opposition, the National Coalition, has met with Zahran Alloush, Islam Army's commander and number of rebel commanders in Jordan's capital.
Amman's secret meeting was organized by the Coalition in step to form a common ground between political and armed opposition as well as to build trust ties, the source said.
The rebel commanders who attended the meeting have represented Homs Legion, Suqour al-Sham, Quds Legion, Ajnad al-Sham Union, Islam Army, Al-Ezza Battalions, Ahrar al-Sham movement, Suqour al-Ghab, Fursan al-Haq brigades and Division 13.
The source said NC leader Khaled Khoja individually had arranged the meeting without any presence for the defense minister of the opposition interim government and rebel representatives in the Coalition.
Free Syrian Army (FSA) boycotted the meeting as demands of the moderate group were not fulfilled by Khoja.
Syria's conflict, now in its fifth year, has killed more than 220,000 people and caused millions to flee.
