Cheifs of Staff envoy in Coalition warns of leaving rebels of Latakia alone

A National Coalition member have warned of neglecting the rebels calls for arms and ammunition  to keep fighting in the front lines of the Latakia province after making prominent gains in the Assad Home.

Mustafa al-Sakhta, the representative of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the main Opposition group said, 'we were born in this coastal land we know more than you, we need to arm the rebels.''

The Joint chief of staff is helping the rebels in Latakia but we need more support, the representative said.

Most of arms in Latakia frontline were distributed by FSA Command, he added.

Sakhta have criticized the performance of the coalition saying the opposition were busy by small interest while Homs was pounding everyday by Assad's mortar bombers and Heavy artillery and Air raids.

The FSA representative said the Assad warplanes had launched 17 air raids per day.

The Assad Warplanes bombed a village in Syria's north overnight in an apparent effort by Bashar al-Assad to prevent rebels fighting him from advancing on communities in the stronghold region of his Alawite sect, Reuters reported.

20 people were killed in the air strikes on the village of Salma, including 10 civilians, six Syrian fighters and four foreign fighters, the anti-Assad Syrian Observatory for Human Rights group said on Saturday.

Sakhta has assured in his message the values of coexistence and joint living with all citizens of Latakia province.

The real death toll in the Syrian war could be more than 200,000 people, a pro-opposition watchdog group said Saturday, as it provided a latest count that matched that of the UN. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said it had documented the deaths of more than 106,000 people, but warned that the real toll could be twice as high. The United Nations said in July that more than 100,000 have been killed in Syria since March 2011.
