Another leaked document from the National Defence forces in Yarmouk camp for Palestinian refugees, showed the humiliating treatment they receive from the regime’s intelligence.
Within the series “National Defence Militia under spotlight”, Zaman al-Wasl is publishing leaked documents to show the extend of violation of law and human right, besides unacceptable practices of the National defence militia, which are one of the main forces the Syrian regime uses to suppress the Syrian people.
The document is a report sent from the commander of the National Defence militia in Yarmouk camp to Palestine intelligence branch informing him about an incidence happen to two Palestinian members of his militia at the new year eve in Daf ashouk area, Eissa Mohamed Abo Sweid and Samer Ali Hassan, when they were in their way back home after finishing a task and they were stopped by members of “Dawriyat branch” who demanded them to show their identity and to hand their arms. However, Eissa and Samer refused that and said they would hand their arms only to their commander.
Afterward, according to the report, Dawriyat’s members threatened the two militia members with arms and hit them and arrested them after forcing them to hand their arms.
The commander of the National defence forces mentioned that his members were humiliated and sworn at and accused of being thieves with all the National Defence forces as well.
The National Defence commander begged the intelligence branch to free his members without mentioning any accountability to Dawriyat’s members for their acts and humiliating his member, which indicate the type of relationship between the two sides, in which the intelligence suppress and scorn the national defence forces.
