A fierce fighting flared up on Tuesday between rebels and Syrian regime army backed by paramilitary National Defense group in the western countryside of Damascus, leaving dozens killed and wounded, a rebel media center said.
The Unified media Center in the Western Ghouta said Free Syrian Army had launched a counter attack on army checkpoints near Deir Khabiya town, killing dozens of soldiers and NDF militants. Activists said Syrian air force bomib led to huge fire in the neighboring farms of the town, the fire has damaged vast hectares of fruitful trees.
Separately, the Fist Army, or al-Jaysh al-Aw-Wal, said in statement. it's fighters has thwarted regime's attack on Masehara village in Quneitra countryside near the Occupied Golan Heights. The First Army has also targeted Tal Bazzaq and Manat al-Faras hills by mortar rounds, the FSA unit said.
