9450 Syrian refugee students to do their first baccalaureate exam

More than 9450 Syrian students are doing their baccalaureate exams today under the surveillance and monitoring of the Opposition in the liberated areas in Aleepo, al-Raqqa, Idlib, Deir Ez Zour and in the refugee camps of Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan.

 An opposition source from Rebels-held areas in Aleppo expected that the Syrian Baccalaureate will be certified internationally, as much as ''we approve that our exams are applicable to the high standards of fairness, accuracy, and under the supervision of the Directorate of Examinations,'' he said.

Weeks ago, A French University announced 4 scholarships will be provided for the top students at baccalaureate in Liberated Syria, an official Opposition source said

 The French Strasbourg University will provide 4 scholarships for the top students at baccalaureate of 2013 in Liberated Syria, an official source in the local council of Aleppo told Zaman Alwasl.

The source pointed out that the French government will be send academic delegates as observers to follow the exams process, which will be covered by French media.

''I received a call from an official at the French Foreign Ministry on Friday, confirming the scholarships, the source said.

 The University of Strasbourg in Strasbourg, Alsace, France, is the second largest university in France, with about 43,000 students and over 4,000 researchers.

Do not supply arms to aynnoe. To play by talking arms so that Assad might withdraw is childish in this day and age. Invite women in to the peace talks they can't do worse than you men and it would be an evolutionary phase in such talks and the region . I think both sides could be guilty of chemical weapons so I advise one get's off the soapbox on that..
